Last Minute Ice Cream Social Tips for National Ice Cream Month

I love ice cream and was super excited to hear about the Atlanta Ice Cream Festival tomorrow at Piedmont Park. I knew that National Ice Cream Day was earlier this month, but I didn’t realize the entire month of July was National Ice Cream Month.  Do you need any more of a reason to host an ice cream social at your house?

You can quickly put together a party over the next couple of days before August 1st.  First thing’s first—send out invites. You don’t have time to send invitations in the mail. Once you send them, head to the store. If you shop now and over the weekend, Kroger has double the fuel points. Just grab a Kroger weekly flyer for the coupon. Get everything you need and get extra discounts on gas.

Then head to Family Dollar to get party decorations. You can go all out or just buy a few things. That’s up to you. Party City is great too if you want to go all out for the kiddos.  Make sure to pick up some fun games to keep the kids occupied.
