2 Sought in Marietta Walmart Robbery

Just after 10:30 p.m. Friday, a person wearing a hoodie and another person wearing a gray long sleeve shirt and baseball cap entered the store at 1167 Powder Springs Rd., said Officer David Baldwin, the spokesman for the Marietta Police Department.

Two people got away from the Marietta Walmart with a bag containing an undisclosed amount of cash, and the Marietta Police Department hopes that surveillance images released today will lead them to the suspects.

Just after 10:30 p.m. Friday, a person wearing a hoodie and another person wearing a gray long sleeve shirt and baseball cap entered the store at 1167 Powder Springs Rd., said Officer David Baldwin, the spokesman for the Marietta Police Department.

"The subject wearing the hoodie acted as a look-out while the subject wearing the gray long sleeve shirt and baseball cap grabbed the bag from the employee," he said.

After snatching the bag from the employee, the suspects ran away.
