3 Charged in Whitlock Heights Burglary Crime Spree

Between Oct. 31 to Nov. 6, three burglaries and one attempted burglary were reported in the Whitlock Heights Subdivision.

Marietta Police arrested three suspects in a burglary crime spree that occurred over a six day period in the Whitlock Heights Subdivision.

Between Oct. 31 to Nov. 6, three burglaries and one attempted burglary were reported in the subdivision, according to Marietta Police Public Information Officer David Baldwin. The suspects were identified through investigative efforts that included working with the victims and witnesses.

Rachael Coleman, 26, of Marietta, is charged with felony theft by receiving, three counts of felony burglary and misdemeanor charges of theft by deception and drug possession, Baldwin said.

Timothy Lamar Carter, 23, of Marietta, and Kevin Cortez Till, 25, of East Point, were charged with three counts of felony burglary as well as criminal trespass. Carter also faces misdemeanor charges of drug possession, Baldwin said. 

Search warrants were executed at all of the suspects' residents and items from each of the burglaries were recovered. Detectives were also able to recover stolen property linked to a burglary in another jurisdiction.
