3 Shot Dead at Bentley Road Apartment

Cobb Police are ruling Sunday's incident at the Ivy Ridge complex a double murder-suicide.

Cobb Police have ruled the shootings a double murder-suicide, and have identified the deceased. 

Police said that according to witnesses, Pericles Doumara, 45, of Marietta, entered an apartment unit at the Ivy Ridge complex and shot his ex-girlfriend's boyfriend, Euclides Guinato-Bernardes, 30, as well as the ex-girlfriend, Thelma Vinhal, 35, both of Marietta. 

Police said that witnesses said Doumara then shot himself.

Cobb Police Officer Michael Bowman said that all three were found dead at the scene, and that the Cobb County Medical Examiner's Office is still working to confirm the manner and causes of their deaths.

Cobb Police said three people were shot and killed Sunday afternoon at an apartment complex on Bentley Road. 

Multiple outlets are reporting that the shootings took place at the Ivy Ridge Apartments, located near Delk Road and the Powers Ferry Road area, and where police were summoned around 2:30 p.m. following a 911 call.

None of those killed have been identified; an AJC report said police are not looking for suspects

According to a WSB TV report, witnesses said gunfire broke out during a family gathering at an apartment unit and that witnesses are being questioned by police.
