Armed Man Steals Home Generator as Cobb Homeowner Watches

When the victim confronted the suspect as he was walking away from the trailer, the man pulled up his shirt revealing that he had a handgun in the waistband of his pants.

Cobb police say an armed man stole a Marietta man’s home generator as the victim was inside his trailer home located on the 1000 block of Atlanta Road.

According to investigators, around 8:15 p.m. on Monday, the victim was inside his trailer when the power from his generator suddenly went out. He went outside and saw the suspect carrying his generator away from the residence. 

When victim confronted the suspect as he was walking away from the trailer, the black male suspect pulled up his shirt revealing that he had a handgun in the waistband of his pants.

The suspect then loaded the generator into a white minivan and drove off. Officers later located the generator nearby and returned it to the victim.  

The suspect, who is described as standing about 5-foot-7 with a medium build, has not been located.
