Armed Robbery at Windy Hill Road Business in Marietta
The Cobb County Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Windy Hill Road in Marietta.
The Cobb County Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred in the 400 block of Windy Hill Road in Marietta on Saturday, Dec. 28.
A man entered the Molina’s Check Cashing business. As he began to fill out some paperwork, he displayed a handgun to the employee, Cobb Police Public Information Officer Sergeant Dana Pierce said in a press release.
After demanding and receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the perpetrator fled from the business in what was described as a blue four-door Mazda or Nissan passenger car, Pierce said in the release.

The perpetrator is described as a Hispanic man between 20 and 30 years of age, Pierce said. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans. He was also armed with a handgun.
