Major thorough fares and some intersections throughout Marietta are still gridlocked with traffic. Police provide stranded motorist within the city assistance.

All major thorough fares and some intersections throughout the city are still gridlocked with traffic, according to Marietta Police Public Information Officer David Baldwin.

"We are still actively sanding the roads and providing motorists with assistance if they break down," Baldwin said in a press release.

Stranded motorist inside the city limits that are seeking assistance with shelter should contact the Marietta Police Department at 770-794-5334, not 911.
