Drugs Found in Marietta Man's Car

He remains in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center without bond.

A man who was pulled over for a stop sign violation in the 2500 block of Sandtown Road allegedly had 40.5 grams of marijuana in his vehicle.

James Pasley, police said, also had a small scale disguised as a cell phone.

"The quantity, manner of packing and presence of a scale are consistent with distribution of marijuana," police said. "Accused admitted that the marijuana was intended to be sold."

He was arrested July 12 on one count of stop sign violation and one count of marijuana possession. He remains in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center without bond.
