Girl Raped in Marietta
A suspect is in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center without bond on multiple charges that include rape and child molestation.
A Marietta man has been arrested in connection with the rape of a 12-year-old girl.
About 5 p.m. Wednesday, Tommy Lee Wilcox allegedly grabbed the girl by the arm, led her to the master bathroom, forced her to the ground and raped her, according to a Cobb County criminal warrant.
The girl was physically injured during the incident, records show.
Wilcox is in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center without bond on multiple charges that include rape and child molestation.
