Marietta Man Found Shot to Death Outside Atlanta Apartment

Atlanta police are seeking the public’s assistance with regards to a Cobb man they found shot to death Wednesday afternoon at a southwest Atlanta apartment complex.

On Thursday, the man was identified as Nicholas Hagood, 34, of Marietta.

According to Officer John Chafee, the incident happened around 1:30 p.m. at the Windsor Square Townhomes, located at 3804 Martin Luther King Jr.

Police say Hagood was shot at least one time in the chest. 

The preliminary investigation indicates that he was shot outside the complex and at this time no motive has been established. 

Investigators are attempting to determine what occurred and are asking that anyone with information on this homicide call Crime Stoppers.
