Marietta Man Held in Lorene Lodge Rape
He has been in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center without bond on other charges since the July 20 incident.
A Marietta man is in custody in connection with a rape at the Lorene Lodge.
A woman told authorities that Reginald Evans Dillard allegedly forced her to have sex against her will about 2 a.m. July 20, according to an arrest warrant.
Though he was arrested the same day at the Lorene Lodge, a warrant for Dillard's arrest on the rape charge was not issued until Aug. 7, according to the warrant.
Since July 20, he has been in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center without bond on other charges, including aggravated stalking, battery and probation violation.
