The Marietta Police Department’s PAL Program is announcing registration for its fall Youth programs.
Registration is open to girls and boys who are currently in grades 1st through 12th. Registration will be on Thursday, Sept. 5 from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Lawrence Street Recreation Center.
Programs will include Martial Arts, Boxing, Golf, “Let’s Talk” – Teen Coaching & Counseling Sessions, Acting, Modeling, Dance Lessons and Art Classes.
PAL is offering these programs in partnership with local community partners such as Iron Clutch Fitness, the African American Golf Foundation, N’Spired by Achievement, The Arts Place and other talented instructors.
Parents must accompany youth to complete registration.
Programs will be free to “Income Eligible” families or cost up to $50 per child per program for families who do not meet the income requirements.
Verification of income eligibility requires parents bring the following documentation:
- Proof of Marietta address
- Verification of all household income (including government assistance)
- Copy of child’s photo ID, as well as photo IDs for ALL household members
- Copy of social security card for child and ALL household members
Programs will begin the week of Sept. 9and run through Dec. 19.
Programs will be held at varying times Monday through Thursdays from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Lawrence Street Recreation Center.
