Marietta Police Trailer Stolen

An Atlanta man has been arrested in connection with the incident.

An Atlanta man is accused of stealing a Marietta police trailer.

About 2:28 a.m. June 3, David Raymond Berry allegedly took the trailer from 1176 Roswell Rd., according to a Cobb County criminal warrant.

The warrant does not specify the motive for the alleged theft.

Authorities were able to find the trailer because it had a GPS unit. Berry, according to the warrant, was driving the vehicle that was pulling trailer along Interstate 75 and Cumberland Boulevard.

He should not have been on the road, records show. His license was suspended.

Berry was arrested on charges that include theft by taking, driving on a suspended license, possession of a firearm during the commission of certain felonies and possession of firearm by a convicted felon.

He is in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center without bond.
