Memorial for Men and Women in Uniform to Remember 9/11
Dobbins Air Reserve Base plans to pay tribute to our nation's fallen military and victims of the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 with a memorial display.
A memorial display will be set up at the POW/MIA Memorial Park at 12 p.m. on Saturday, allowing Dobbins service members to pay their respects to those lost on or affected by Sept. 11, 2001.
The memorial will include a wreath, a Dobbins 9/11 anniversary banner and a firefighter/police officer display.
The commemoration on Sunday will begin with the ringing of four bells coinciding with each individual attack.

"It's a come as you go event," said Shawn Shenk, a spokesman for Dobbins. "It's for the military and firefighters and police. It gives them a place to go during their hectic schedules to remember."
A ceremony is scheduled at 3:45 p.m. at the memorial and will include a performance by the Dobbins Honor Guard and the lowering of the flag.
