Missing Marietta Woman Found in California

A resident of a Marietta senior living facility who went missing over the weekend has been found safe in California, Cobb Police said Monday. 

Betty Ann Watson, 72, was discovered disoriented but in good condition at a Greyhound bus terminal in Los Angeles by police there, Cobb Police Sgt. Dana Pierce said. 

Watson, who suffers from dementia and schizophrenia, was reported missing Saturday from the Wellcare Senior Center on Powder Springs Road. 

A Mattie's Call was issued as the Georgia Bureau of Investigation joined Cobb authorities in the search for Watson. 

Pierce said arrangements are being made with Watson's family for her return to Georgia.

OMG California, especially LA, she could of got killed a thousand miles away from her family not knowing where she was, there needs to be tighter concern for our elderly then this!
