Pair Wanted for SW Atlanta Murder of Marietta Man

Crime Stoppers Atlanta is offering up to a $2,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and indictment.

About six weeks after Nicholas Hagood was found shot to death at a southwest Atlanta apartment complex, Atlanta Police Department investigators and Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta are asking the public for help in locating two suspects who are wanted in connection with the murder of the 34-year-old Marietta man.

On March 26, Hagood was shot and killed during an apparent armed robbery at 3804 Martin Luther King Junior Drive.  

Demetruis Fortson, 19, and Jeremy Southern, 24, are currently wanted for murder as it pertains to this investigation.

Any information on the case can be submitted anonymously to the Crime Stoppers Atlanta tip line at 404-577-TIPS (8477), online www.crimestoppersatlanta.org or by texting CSA and the tip to CRIMES (274637). Persons do not have to give their name or any identifying information to be eligible for the reward of up to $2,000.
