Police Seek Help in Finding Child Abduction Suspect

Man attempted to abduct 9-year-old at apartment complex, Marietta police said.

From the Marietta Police Department:

The Marietta Police Department Detective Division is seeking the public’s assistance in locating and identifying a person of interest in an attempted child abduction case that occurred at the Ridge Point Apartments located at 720 Franklin Road.

On Nov. 6, 2013 at approximately 4 p.m. a suspect described as a white male, approximately 25-35 years old attempted to abduct a 9-year-old child after getting off of the school bus by grabbing him and pulling him in another direction. The child was able to break free of the suspect and ran home.Β  Police were called immediately and a search for the suspect was conducted.Β
