Police Seeking Trio in Jewelry Store Armed Robbery

The Kay Jewelers located within The Avenue West Cobb outdoor shopping mall was robbed by two men and a woman on Tuesday.

Cobb police are investigating a Tuesday morning armed robbery of a Kay Jewelers located within The Avenue West Cobb outdoor shopping mall in the 3600 block of Dallas Highway.

According to Sgt. Dana Pierce, two males and a female entered the store at approximately 10 a.m. asking to look at items in the display cases. Within moments of doing so, the two male perpetrators produced handguns and began tying up the two female employees. 

Along with the female perpetrator, all three offenders took personal items, cash and jewelry from the victims and the business. All three offenders fled on foot from the area in an unknown direction.

The two males are described as black and last seen wearing all black clothing. One was described as being between 20-30 years of age and the other between 30-40 years of age.

The black female was described as being between 20-30 years of age, wearing all dark clothing and possibly a wig.

There were no injuries reported and anyone with information about Tuesday's crime is asked to call 770-499-3945.
