One Dead in Early Wednesday Morning Marietta Fire

Flames reportedly engulfed a home on Wynbrook Road near Woodleight and Colloway roads.

Update: 4:45 p.m.:

According to Cobb County Fire Investigators, the man who died in Wednesday morning's fire has been identified as 58-year-old Arthur Goller of Marietta.

According to investigators, Cobb County Fire and Emergency Services responded to 1189 Wynbrook Road in reference to a residential fire. While working to put the fire out, they discovered the body of Goller inside the residence.

Reports are that an early Wednesday morning fire at a Marietta home has left one man dead.

Flames reportedly engulfed a home on Wynbrook Road near Woodleight and Colloway roads around 2:30 a.m.

A married couple was inside and the 58-year-old man was unable to escape the blaze and died.

There is no word as to what caused the fire as this is a very early developing story. Patch will update as soon as new information is made available.
