Roads Closed for Marietta Fire Training

The training will continue Sept. 11-13 and Sept. 17-19 on Roselane Street north of Tower Road and Roselane Street at Cogburn Avenue.

The Marietta Fire Department began to conduct training for 10 newly hired recruits Monday, Sept. 9 on Cogburn Avenue north of Tower Road and Cogburn Avenue at Roselane Street.

The training will continue Sept. 11-13 and Sept. 17-19 on Roselane Street north of Tower Road and Roselane Street at Cogburn Avenue.

The scheduled training will utilize donated property to conduct live burns Sept. 9, 17 and 18.

Local traffic will be allowed on these streets, but the area will be closed to through traffic from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
