A Smyrna man who allegedly stole $10,000 from a Marietta bank in December is in custody in Fulton County.

A warrant was issued Thursday for the arrest of Craig L. Johnson, who authorities said electronically transferred $10,000 from someone else's account to his account without the person's consent. About 3:56 p.m. Dec. 18, he allegedly went to the Perrin Road branch of Associated Credit Union and withdrew the money "when he knew or should have known that the funds were not obtained by him legitimately," according to the warrant.

According to online jail records, Johnson is in the Fulton County Jail on a charge of first degree forgery.

In Cobb, he faces a charge of theft by taking, a felony offense.
