Suspect in Marietta Molestation Arrested
The alleged incident occurred sometime between Oct. 1, 2005 and Oct. 1, 2006.
A Marietta man wanted in connection with the molestation of a girl in the mid-2000s has been arrested.
Hector Hernandez was arrested Saturday on two counts of child molestation, according to online jail records.
In an arrest warrant, Marietta police accuse Hernandez of inappropriately touching the girl, who was under the age of 16 when the alleged incident occurred between Oct. 1, 2005 and Oct. 1, 2006 at a residence in the 800 block of Franklin Road.
Hernandez is in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center in lieu of $25,000 bond. He has a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement hold on his release.
