Taco Bell Robbed by Shotgun

The Marietta Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred Friday morning.

At around 10:02 a.m. Friday, a black male entered a Marietta with a full length shotgun. The suspect held three employees at gunpoint and demanded the money from the safe.

The man placed the money into a backpack then fled. He was seen getting into the rear passenger seat of a dark blue or black Chevrolet Impala with no tag displayed. The vehicle was last seen traveling northbound on Powder Springs Street.

The suspect is described as a black male between 5 foot 8 and 5 foot 11 and 17 to 23 years old. The suspect has a thin to medium build and was wearing black pants with a teal colored hoodie, a hat and a red bandana covering his face. The suspect was also wearing cloth gloves.

The Taco Bell is located at 1180 Powder Springs St.
