Trio Charged with Theft

They allegedly stole a truck from a metro Atlanta landscaping business with a location in Marietta.

Three people face charges for their roles in the alleged theft of a truck from a metro Atlanta landscaping business.

Demarrio Antwan Wright of Rex, Jermaine Demond Garrison of Decatur and Shawn Anthony Peters of Lawrenceville each face a charge of theft by taking, according to arrest warrants for the trio.

About 5 p.m. Thursday, Wright allegedly transported Garrison and Peters to Royal Landscaping at 2129 Northwest Pkwy., according to arrest warrants for the trio. While Peters and Garrison took the truck, Wright acted as a lookout, police said.

Peters allegedly drove the stolen truck to an unknown address in Atlanta while Wright followed closely behind. Garrison was a passenger in the stolen truck.
