A College Park man allegedly kicked her in the face.

A College Park man allegedly kicked a Marietta woman in the face as two juveniles under the age of 5 watched.

The incident occurred about 11:16 p.m. Sunday at an apartment in the 1600 block of Massachusetts Avenue. The woman and the suspect share a child.

During an argument, the woman sought shelter in a bedroom, according to an arrest warrant. Diante Devaughn Gore allegedly forced his way through the bedroom door, which caused the woman to fall to the floor, according to an arrest warrant.

While she was on the floor, Gore kicked her in the face, causing her nose to swell and bleed, police said. Two children, 1 and 4, witnessed the incident, according to the warrant.

Gore faces charges that include two counts of third-degree cruelty to children and battery.
