Warrant: 'Decrepit' Woman Attacked at Cobb Jail

She was in bed at the time of the alleged incident.

A Dallas woman who has been in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center for the last 114 days will not be released on good behavior anytime soon.

That is because Adrianna Nicole Mitchell allegedly hit a 65-year-old "decrepit" woman in the head multiple times and pulled out clumps of the woman's hair, according to an arrest warrant.

"Mitchell also spat in the victim's face," authorities said.

The warrant does not specify what precipitated the disagreement. The 65-year-old was in bed at the time of the alleged attack, which occurred about 5:10 a.m. Aug. 2.

Mitchell has been in the county jail since April 16 on multiple battery charges. She now faces additional charges of aggravated battery and obstruction, according to the warrant.
