Warrant: Marietta Man Gave Teen Sister Marijuana

He is in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center in lieu of $20,000 bond.

Marietta police have arrested a man who allegedly gave his 16-year-old sister marijuana.

The teen was staying with Elijah Rouse in a Motel 6 on Delk Road, according to an arrest warrant.

"Accused had marijuana packed for individual sale in the room as well," Marietta police said. "There was marijuana residue throughout the entire room. Said accused did admit to smoking marijuana in the room with the juvenile victim earlier in the evening."

That was not the only thing police found.

"Accused did have in the room a Smith and Wesson 9mm gun while in possession of multiple baggies of marijuana packaged and intended for distribution, a felony violation," police said.

Rouse faces charges that include possession of firearm during the commission of certain felonies, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and intent to distribute marijuana. He is in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center in lieu of $20,000 bond.
