Warrant: Woman Impersonated Cobb Police Officer on Facebook

She was allegedly conducting a personal investigation, according to an arrest warrant.

A Loganville woman allegedly pretended to be a Cobb police officer on Facebook.

"In an attempt to conduct a personal 'investigation' and gather information regarding an alleged attempt, by a third party, to harass" her, Jennifer Shari Phoenix allegedly identified herself as "a police officer with Cobb County" and as "Officer Phoenix" in Facebook messages to another woman, according to an arrest warrant.

The alleged messages were sent between 9:07 p.m. July 1 and 9:54 p.m. July 3, according to the warrant.

Phoenix surrendered to Cobb authorities this afternoon. She is being held at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center in lieu of $2,500 bond.
