Warrant: Woman Leaves Child to Enjoy Six Flags Water Park

The child was without proper supervision for 30 minutes to an hour.

A Six Flags White Water visitor allegedly asked three children to watch a 1-year-old child so she could enjoy the attractions at the Marietta water park.

"Said victim was left without proper supervision for approximately 30-60 minutes," according to the arrest warrant for 21-year-old Stephanie Michelle Pasley of Chattanooga, Tenn.

The oldest supervisor was 7 years old, according to the warrant. The youngest was 4.

A Marietta police officer saw the 1-year-old child run away from the other children and almost fall into a pool that was approximately 4- to 5-feet deep.

"DFCS was called in and released the child to other family members," according to the warrant.

Pasley was arrested on one count each of reckless conduct and giving a false name. She was released Saturday from the Cobb County Adult Detention Center on $2,500 bond.
