Cobb Gets Mobile Maps for Parcel, Zoning Data

Cobb residents can now obtain parcel and zoning information on the go using smartphones or tablets.

Cobb County Information Services staff has developed new geographic information system mobile maps for obtaining parcel and zoning information using smartphones or tablets.

They are available at no cost and compatible with both Android and Apple iOS devices. The GIS mobile maps enable users to access county parcel and zoning data on-the-go.

To run the mobile maps, visit the county's GIS Web page at cobbcounty.org/gis and scan the QR codes or launch the maps by clicking on the links.

Staff is currently developing additional GIS mobile maps to support staff and residents.

For more information, contact Jennifer Lana, GIS technology services manager, at 770-528-8703 or GiS_Support@cobbcounty.org.

Good grief, if the rifle can kill someone, why on earth would you give it to a five-year-old? ThisRead More one just boggles my mind. I hope that even the NRA has a problem with this.

This is a fine example of freedom being too much to handle for some folks. The idiots who gave theRead More kid the gun should be jailed. Its obvious that a 5 year old should neither posses, nor handle a firearm period. Having said that I am a full supporter of the Second Amendment and the NRA. However we cannot measure the validity of the right to bear arms by using these idiot parents as a case study.
