Cobb Pregnancy to Expand

City Council unanimously approved the nonprofit Christian pregnancy center's rezoning request on Wednesday.

At the regular meeting Wednesday night, the Marietta City Council unanimously granted Cobb Pregnancy Services a special land use permit so that it could expand.

The nonprofit Christian pregnancy center is located at 47 Gramling St., off Powder Springs Road.

The nonprofit has been in the community for over 10 years and currently works out of a two-story house located on three-quarters of an acre. The land use permit will allow the nonprofit to raze its 3,500-square-foot building and build a 10,800-square-foot replacement.
