Don't Get Caught in Traffic: Marietta Lane Closures, Delays

The following road work will be in progress this week, according to :

Barrett Parkway Construction

NB Barrett Pkwy (Stilesboro Rd to Old Hwy 41): Monday, July 23 through Friday, Aug. 3: The contractor will work around the clock on re-construction in the Northbound lanes between Stilesboro Road and Old Hwy 41. Only one travel lane will be open during this period. It is suggested you plan extra time for your commute or consider an alternate route.

In addition to the 24-hour lane closures in the NB lanes, the following work will continue for the week:

NB Barrett Pkwy (Burnt Hickory Rd to Stilesboro Rd and Old Hwy 41 to Ridenour Blvd): Monday, July 30 through Friday, Aug. 3: You can expect periodic lane closures Northbound between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. between Burnt Hickory Road and Ridenour Blvd. One lane will remain open at all times.

SB Barrett Pkwy (Ridenour Blvd to Burnt Hickory Rd): Monday, July 30 through Friday, Aug. 3: Anticipate periodic lane closures Southbound from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. between Ridenour and Burnt Hickory Roads with one lane remaining open at all times.

Road Resurfacing

Asphalt paving operations, which will include lane closures with one lane remaining open at all times, are scheduled Monday, July 30 through Friday, Aug. 3, on Burnt Hickory Road from Due West Rd to Barrett Pkwy.
