Future C-5M Rolls Out of Marietta Hangar

The aircraft received new engine pylons and wiring and will now be fitted with new, state-of-the-art GE F138-GE-100 turbofan engines and undergo flight checks.

A future C-5M rolled out of the hangar at the Lockheed Martin facilities in Marietta on May 10.

Tail number 87-0045 received new engine pylons and wiring and will now be fitted with new, state-of-the-art GE F138-GE-100 turbofan engines and undergo flight checks before being delivered to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware later this year.
