German Exchange Students Visit Marietta

Students visited the city offices, historic landmarks, the Square and Marietta High School.

Students from 's sister city Linz, Germany, visited the city March 27 and met with mayor Steve Tumlin to learn how local government operates as part of an exchange program. While they were in Marietta, the students visited the Square and some of the city's historical landmarks.

"The students will also spend two and a half days in class with students at ," MHS principal Leigh Colburn said in a press release.

The students' trip also includes visits to Atlanta Zoo, Turner Field, the World of Coke, the Booth Museum, Georgia Aquarium, Martin Luther King Jr. Center and CNN Center.
