Labor Day Means Festivals, Closings

There will be craft and other vendor booths, inflatables and other entertainment for kids as well as music for all ages. The event takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

4. Today is Labor Day, which means the city's administrative offices, schools, banks and post offices as well as federal and state offices will be closed.

5. Regular Monday garbage and recycling pickups will be on Tuesday. Regular Tuesday services will be on Wednesday. Yard waste services are discontinued this week.
