Lockheed Delivers C-130 to Dyess Air Base

The C-130 production line in Marietta is the longest continuously operating military aircraft production line in history.

Lockheed Martin delivered the first for the 39th Airlift Squadron at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, on Feb. 9.

Maj. Gen. Rick Martin, Director of Operations for the Air Mobility Command, accepted delivery of the Super Hercules. “The pride and professionalism of the Lockheed Martin employees in this weapon system comes through loud and clear,” Martin said in a press release.
