Marietta Appoints Judges, Board Members, Solicitors

The appointed a series of municipal judges, solicitors and members of boards during the June 8 meeting of the City Council.

These appointments include:

• Mayor Steve Tumlin reappointed Roger Rozen as chief judge of .
• Tumlin reappointed Lawrence E. Burke, Nancy Ingram Jordan, Mazi Mazloom, John Storey Morgan, Robert F. Schnatmeir, Melinda Taylor, Nathan Wade and Steve Yaklin as associate judges of Marietta Municipal Court
• Tumlin reappointed Phyllis Gingrey Collins as associate judge of Marietta Municipal Court
• City Council reappointed Robert Donovan as the city solicitor
• City Council reappointed Steve Cook, Susan M. Miller, Michael B Syrop, Keith M. Olmert, Carmen Porreca, Thomas Griner, Jason Treadway, Latonia Patrice Hines as associate city solicitors
• City Council appointed William Martin to Ward 6 of the Board of Zoning Appeals Ward 6, for a three-year term expiring June 8, 2014
• City Council reappointed Alice Summerour to the Board of Lights and Water (non-resident member) for a four-year term expiring July 14, 2015.
