Marietta City Council will consider the fiscal year 2014 budget, which includes no millage rate increase or changes in services, at its next meeting on June 12 at 7 p.m.

The city's proposed general fund budget of $48.8 million funds the day-to-day operations of the city including police and fire services, parks and recreation programs, streets and public works maintenance.

The public is invited to come to the Council meeting on June 12 at 7 p.m., which will be held in the Council chamber, located on the lobby level of City Hall, 205 Lawrence St.
