Public Input Sought on Marietta University Enhancement District

The purpose of the study is to develop a redevelopment plan for Cobb and South Marietta Parkways, increase visibility of Life and Southern Polytechnic State universities and help to connect the universities with the surrounding community.

The city of Marietta, Life University and Southern Polytechnic State University invite the community (students, residents, business owners and people who work in Marietta) to participate in an online survey that will collect additional input on what types of businesses, shopping and restaurants you would like to see in the Marietta University Enhancement District (MU2) study area.

  • Part of study will help identify ways to make area near Cobb Parkway and South Marietta Parkway a better place to live, work, play and learn
