Over 100 people gathered for a Justice for Trayvon Martin rally on Marietta Square on Thursday. The rally organizers talked about Trayvon Martin, the present state and the future.

Over 100 people gathered for a planned "Justice for Trayvon Martin Rally" on Marietta Square on Thursday. 

The rally was organized by the New Order Human Rights Organization.

After two days of deliberation, the jury in George Zimmerman’s second-degree murder trial came back with a not guilty verdict Saturday evening.

Zimmerman, 29, was on trial for the 2012 shooting death of Trayvon Martin, 17, in the Sanford area in Florida. The death and subsequent trial created racial tensions and raised questions about Florida’s Stand Your Ground law.
