Roswell Streetscapes Project to be 'Substantially Completed' by Thanksgiving

The project includes the widening of Roswell Street to four lanes, planted medians, pedestrian improvements, pedestrian lighting, landscape, and entrance monuments at the Roswell Street and Cobb Parkway intersection.

The city of Marietta's streetscapes project that extends along Roswell Street to Cobb Parkway for approximately a quarter of a mile is expected to be substantially completed by Thanksgiving. The project, funded by 2005 SPLOST dollars, has been under construction for a year.

The project includes the widening of Roswell Street to four lanes, planted medians, pedestrian improvements, pedestrian lighting, landscape, and entrance monuments at the Roswell Street and Cobb Parkway intersection. Also included are intersection improvements with pedestrian improvements and mast arm signals and other hardscape enhancements.
