The city of Marietta's new mobile app and revamped website lets citizens report concerns, request services and get city news wherever they are.

The has a new mobile app that lets citizens submit requests on the go and a redesigned, easy-to-use website that helps visitors find what they're looking for more easily. 

App Enables Citizen Requests on the Go

With the city's mobile app, citizens can report concerns, request services and get city news wherever they are. The free MyMarietta app is compatible with Android and iOS, including iPhone and iPad.

Users can:

Find out what's happening in Mariettawith free, real-time updates from Patch.

  • Report non-hazardous issues inside the Marietta city limits related to potholes, noise, signs, trees, traffic lights, etc.
  • Submit requests with an address or coordinates from the device's built-in GPS.

The city's mobile app and online Citizen Request should not be used to report:

  • Emergencies
  • Accidents
  • Fires
  • Crimes in progress
  • Utility outages

A case number is issued upon submission, and users can use the app to track the progress of the submitted issue. The app is available in Android Market and on iTunes App Store.

Web Makeover Makes Finding Easier

The city's official website was reorganized so that content is more easily located based on the types of things visitors to the site need to accomplish. Categories are arranged for residents, visitors, businesses, city hall, news and online services.

The new "How Do I" section makes it easier to pay bills or fines, apply for permits and report or request services.

Visitors can subscribe to receive news from City Hall by e-mail and RSS feeds.
