Marietta's First Blue Devil Block Party, Food Truck Fest

The Marietta Schools Foundation's first Food Truck Fest will take place before the Marietta High School Homecoming game on Friday, Oct. 19.

In celebration of the Marietta High School Homecoming 2012, the Marietta Schools Foundation is sponsoring the first Blue Devil Block Party and Food Truck Fest on Winn Street (in front of the Marietta Middle School), Friday, Oct. 19 from 5 to 7:15 p.m.

Meet up with former classmates, celebrate with young and old, and enjoy food from some of Atlanta’s best trucks.

Music performances will be given by MHS alumni and The Stiles Brothers.

The following food trucks will be featured:

  • Happy Belly (Ranked #9 healthiest food truck in the nation by greatest.com.),
  • W.O.W. Truck (Recently ranked #1 favorite food truck by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution),
  • Snap (Ranked #3 people’s choice food truck in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution),
  • Fry Guy and
  • YoBe Frozen Yogurt

The Marietta City Schools Foundation will be selling desserts at Winn St. and Polk St., near the Alumni House.

Following in the footsteps of Kennesaw and Smyrna, Marietta will start having its own food truck events 5 to 9 p.m. Mondays off the Marietta Square.

Smyrna Food Truck Tuesdays start at 5 p.m. and runs through 8:30 p.m. every Tuesday at Taylor-Brawner Park. Food trucks will gather in the lower parking spaces adjacent to the playground and mini ampitheatre.

Dinner at the Depot takes place in downtown Kennesaw, 2828 Cherokee Street, every Monday from 5 to 8 p.m.
