Employment Seminar: Land the Job of Your Dreams

The Cobb County Public Library System is hosting a job
search training session on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 4 pm at the Central Library. The program is free and open to the public; registration is not required. The library is located at 266 Roswell Street in Marietta.

The seminar will be presented by a representative from ReferenceUSA, a database that provides information on more than 14 million companies nationwide. Access to the database is free to all Cobb County Public Library System cardholders. Topics that will be discussed include career research, networking, resume writing, interview preparation, and salary negotiation. Attendees will also be shown how to use the database to conduct research about industries and companies. There will be time for questions and answers after the presentation.
