Where: Wheeler High School
Girls Preview: Marietta (10-13, 8-3) is locked into the No. 2 seed for next week’s region tournament, while Wheeler will be the sixth-place team. So there’s nothing on the line but pride Friday when these two teams meet. Marietta beat Wheeler by just five points in the teams’ first meeting on January 18.

Boys Preview: Marietta (9-15, 6-5) lost to Wheeler (18-5, 10-1) on January 18 in a game that the Blue Devils led in the third quarter. If Marietta can complete the upset bid tonight they can put a major dent in the Wildcats’ hopes of finishing in first place in Region 5-AAAAA. Marietta has won five of its last six games and also has a chance to finish in third place in the region with a win on Friday.
