Kiwanis Kids Cultural Challenge Winners

Marietta students place first in Metro Atlanta Boys and Girls Club Kiwanis Kids Cultural Challenge.

Eight students representing , , and recently placed first (region and overall) in the Metro Atlanta Boys and Girls Club Kiwanis Kids Cultural Challenge.

The James T. Anderson Boys and Girls Club Marietta 2011 Kiwanis Kids Cultural Challenge winners are:

  • Zena Eberhardt, MHS;              
  • Michael Olaribigbe, MMS;
  • Patrick Dinehart, MMS;
  • Alexis Edwards, MMS;
  • Kaleb Comer, MMS;
  • Gabriel Taplin, Dunleith Elementary;
  • Morgan Comer, Dunleith Elementary; and
  • Elisha Edwards, MCAA.

The Kiwanis Kids Cultural Challenge is a yearlong cultural program, sponsored by the Atlanta Kiwanis Club that challenges Metro Atlanta Boys and Girls Club members to explore a particular country, its geography, culture, dress and activities.

The challenge enables club members to display their cultural knowledge, art and performance skills and interactive talents while embracing the different countries and cultures of our world. Members from each club participate in the contest by presenting what they learned about their country through creative displays, performances and interactive projects.
