Make a Choice with Marietta City Schools

Marietta City Schools are entering the fifth year of the Choice Academies program, which provides parents and guardians an opportunity to choose the elementary school best suited to their child's talents and needs.

The open application period for the elementary Choice Academies program for 2012-2013 is Nov. 7 through Jan. 20.

Choice provides parents and guardians an opportunity to choose the elementary school best suited to their child’s talents and needs. Space must be available at the school and within the grade level requested before a Choice request is eligible for approval.

“We are entering the fifth year of the Choice Academies program, and we continue to see growing interest in each of our schools and the programs they offer,” said superintendent in a press release. “The Choice Academies program directly supports the district’s vision to be the school system of choice for families.”
