Marietta Application Window for Elementary Choice Academies

The open application window for the 2013-2014 Marietta City Schools (MCS) elementary Choice Academies program is Nov. 12 through Jan. 18, 2013.

Interested Marietta City residents seeking to apply for the Choice Academies program must submit their completed application no later than Jan. 18, 2013. 

All Marietta City Choice Academies offer school tours by appointment. To arrange a school tour contact the school directly. “We are now entering the sixth year of the Choice Academies program, and with each passing year we continue to see growing interest in each of our schools and the programs they offer,” said MCS Superintendent Emily Lembeck. “The Choice Academies program directly supports the district’s vision to be the school system of choice for families.”

Choice provides parents and guardians an opportunity to choose, within a clearly defined window of eligibility, the elementary school best suited to their child’s talents and needs. Space must be available at the school and within the grade level requested before a Choice request is eligible for approval.
