Marietta Educator Awarded Grant

The results of the third grade math teacher's Digital Literacy in Content Areas Learning Center Project will benefit students and educators, Marietta City Schools superintendent Dr. Emily Lembeck said.

third grade math teacher Stormi Johnson is one of four recipients recently awarded a Georgia Educational Technology Consortium (GaETC) grant valued at $2,500.

“Stormi Johnson’s grant titled Digital Literacy in Content Areas Learning Center Project is deserving of this grant award," said Dr. Emily Lembeck, Superintendent , in a release. "The results of her initiative will benefit our students, and her fellow educators who will learn from her presentation.”

The Georgia Educational Technology Consortium is a non-profit corporation formed to advance the effective use of technology in education by providing funding and support for the Georgia Educational Technology Conference, the Georgia Educational Technology Fair and the Georgia Educational Technology Consortium Innovation Grant Program.
