Marietta High School Hosts Looking Toward the Future Transition Conference

The conference will feature experts on financial planning, benefits navigator and Social Security benefits, vocational rehabilitation services, respite care, Medicaid waivers and many other transition-related services

will host the annual Looking Toward the Future Transition Conference Saturday, Feb. 4 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

This annual conference sponsored by the Cobb/Marietta/Douglas Interagency Council provides families, educators and community members with information to assist students/persons with disabilities. 

Event registration begins at 9:30 a.m. and breakout sessions begin at 10 a.m.

“Over 30 vendors are expected to participate in the conference. Breakout sessions will feature experts on Financial Planning, Benefits Navigator and Social Security Benefits, Vocational Rehabilitation Services, Respite Care, Medicaid Waivers and many other transition-related services,” said Jack Coleman, MHS Career Technical Instruction Coordinator, in a press release.
